Natural Rabbit Ears with Fur

Rabbit ears with fur are natural, hypoallergenic dog treats that support digestion, dental health, and overall well-being.

Benefits of Rabbit Ears with Fur
Digestive Support: The fur on rabbit ears provides natural fiber, which can help regulate your dog’s digestive system, firm up stools, and even aid in deworming by helping flush out parasites
This makes them particularly useful for dogs with sensitive stomachs or digestive issues.

Dental Benefits The texture acts as a natural toothbrush, promoting oral hygiene.
Hypoallergenic and Novel Protein: Rabbit is a novel protein, making these treats suitable for dogs with allergies to common proteins like beef or chicken

They are generally well-tolerated by most dogs.
Stress and Anxiety Relief: The act of chewing can provide mental stimulation and reduce anxiety in dogs, making rabbit ears a calming treat

Nutritional Value: Rabbit ears are low in fat, high in protein, and contain beneficial minerals such as manganese from the fur, which supports ligament and joint health

Safety and Feeding Guidelines
Moderation: Rabbit ears should make up about 10% of your dog’s diet. Typically, one ear per day is sufficient

Supervision: Always supervise your dog while chewing to prevent choking or digestive obstruction, especially with fur-on ears

Hydration: Ensure your dog has access to fresh water when consuming these treats

Puppies: Suitable for puppies but monitor for any digestive sensitivity.

Allergies and Sensitivities: Introduce gradually and watch for diarrhoea or digestive upset, particularly in dogs with sensitive stomachs

Sourcing and Preparation
Rabbit ears are by-products of the rabbit meat industry and are typically air-dried or freeze-dried to preserve nutrients and extend shelf life

It is important to check the source: European rabbit farming generally follows higher welfare standards compared to other regions

Dehydrated ears retain their natural flavour and nutrients without additives, preservatives, or artificial chemicals
